2. Service Description
Upwardconnect allows you to:
- Buy airtime and data for yourself or others
- Pay utility bills
- Create and use virtual bank accounts
- Access transaction history and manage your digital wallet
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Provide your username, name, email, and phone number (required)
- Verify your account with a valid phone number and/or email
- Be at least 13 years old
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Virtual Bank Accounts
Virtual bank accounts are provided through licensed third-party financial institutions.
In some cases, you may be required to provide your BVN or NIN to verify your identity.
This information is not stored by us but securely transmitted to the financial provider for verification purposes.
5. Payments and Transactions
All payments and bill transactions are final once processed.
Ensure you verify recipient details before confirming any transaction.
We are not liable for losses due to user error or incorrect beneficiary details.
6. Contact Access
You may optionally grant the app access to your contacts to make it easier to send airtime or data to people you know. This access can be revoked anytime via your device settings.
7. Account Termination
You may request account deletion by contacting our support team at support@upwardconnect.com.ng.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
We strive to ensure reliable service, but we are not responsible for:
- Network failures or third-party service interruptions
- Incorrect data or airtime top-ups caused by user input
- Losses arising from unauthorized account access due to user negligence
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upwardconnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms or modify the app at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
